Just a Tip

Most people probably won't find themselves in a situation where they're out of milk but just happen to have some spare buttermilk leftover. If, however, you do find yourself in such a place, feel free to throw the buttermilk in the mashed potatoes. It gives just a slightly but pleasantly different taste and keeps the potatoes just as creamy as regular milk does!
